Aurelia Clicker is a small open-ended clicker/incremental game about filling up your fish tank with as many little jellyfish as you can. The game was made over the course of 2 weeks as a class project, and began as a simple clicker game.

Over the course of development it became more of a stress test project, as I quickly learned just how difficult it is to render and simulate hundreds or even thousands of physics agents in a single scene. When I realized the game's performance dropped sharply after only a couple hundred agents on screen, much of my focus turned to how I could best optimize the game to handle those agents, and the result is something I'm quite pleased with. The final prototype is able to handle somewhere around 8,000 active agents before performance begins to fall off, and can reach 20,000 before hitting its allocated browser memory limit.
